The application deadline was 26 August 2026.
Sasol has two current 12-month Administration learnership routes for unemployed young people who have completed Grade 12 and want structured exposure to a professional workplace. The first programme is the general Learner: Administration intake, while the second is specifically for people living with disabilities. Both programmes combine an NQF-aligned theoretical component with practical on-site workplace learning across Sasol locations including Alrode, Germiston, Sandton, Sasolburg and Secunda. Learners can develop foundational business, communication, numeracy, computer and administration skills while supporting managers and departments during the practical part of the programme. These opportunities are aimed at entry-level candidates rather than applicants who already have established work experience. Candidates should choose the programme that matches their circumstances and use the correct requisition number when applying through the Sasol careers platform.

What the Programme Covers
The theoretical component is aligned to an NQF learnership and develops foundational workplace capability. Learning areas include entrepreneurship, business operations, customer service, business accounting, mathematical literacy, communication and computer skills.
During the practical component, learners provide administrative support to managers and departments while gaining experience in a structured workplace. This can include coordinating routine work, supporting workflows, following policies and procedures and learning how administrative tasks connect to wider business operations.
Skills and Behaviours
Sasol highlights self-development, accountability and the ability to learn quickly. Learners should be able to manage routine workplace tasks, follow instructions, coordinate activities and communicate effectively. Basic numeracy and computer skills are important because the programme is designed to improve general workplace readiness.
What You Will Gain
The programme provides 12 months of structured learning and practical experience within a large chemicals and energy company. The combination of theory and workplace exposure can help participants build a stronger foundation for future administrative, customer-service and business-support roles.
