GoTyme Bank South Africa, part of the wider Tyme digital banking group, is recruiting a Growth Manager in Cape Town. The role sits close to the bank’s SME lending growth strategy and focuses on customer lifecycle management for its direct-to-consumer Merchant Cash Advance offering. This is not a general social media or brand marketing position. The successful candidate will be expected to design and scale lifecycle journeys that move small-business owners from awareness and interest toward application, while building a stronger growth infrastructure around CRM, marketing automation, customer data and measurement. The vacancy is full-time and is currently listed as a hybrid South African role. It is best suited to an experienced growth or CRM professional who understands how a digital financial product is acquired, evaluated and adopted over a longer consideration cycle.
Job Details
- Position: Growth Manager
- Employer: GoTyme ZA (South Africa)
- Location: Cape Town, Western Cape
- Employment type: Full-time
- Work arrangement: Hybrid
- Business area: SME lending / Merchant Cash Advance
What the Growth Manager Will Do
The role owns the lifecycle growth mechanics behind GoTyme Bank’s direct-to-consumer SME lending channel. A key responsibility is to design and expand customer journeys that build awareness, trust and application intent among business owners. The manager will help establish structured go-to-market journeys, improve the number of customers the bank can reach and develop communication suited to higher-consideration lending decisions.
Another major part of the job is building within the Salesforce ecosystem. The successful candidate will translate business goals into lifecycle use cases and work with internal specialists and external implementation partners to deploy automated flows. These journeys need to be measurable, modular and capable of supporting future product expansion.
Data, CRM and Measurement
The Growth Manager will work closely with data and automation teams to define useful behavioural signals, improve customer segmentation and make sure information flows correctly from CRM systems into marketing automation. The role also requires measurement frameworks that show whether the addressable audience and application pipeline are expanding, rather than concentrating only on small campaign optimisations.
Experience and Skills
Candidates should have at least five years of experience in lifecycle marketing, CRM or a growth-led environment. Experience building or scaling growth frameworks in Salesforce Marketing Cloud is particularly relevant. The position also needs someone who can convert business requirements into technical marketing journeys and work effectively with implementation agencies, data teams, product teams and performance marketing stakeholders.
Fintech, lending or SME-focused business experience is preferred. Strong use of data and analytics, including confidence with AI-assisted analysis, is important. The role also calls for commercial awareness, structured growth thinking, technical fluency and the ability to lead and influence people even where formal reporting lines do not exist.
How to Apply
Applications are completed through GoTyme South Africa’s current recruitment portal. Candidates should prepare a CV that clearly shows lifecycle marketing, CRM, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, data-led growth and any relevant fintech or lending experience.
