Responsibilities include opening and maintaining accounts, supporting application processing, resolving client queries, identifying sales opportunities and educating clients on products, digital banking and self-service channels. The role requires a proven sales record and a working understanding of KYC, POPIA and FAIS controls. Candidates must meet FAIS Fit and Proper requirements.
Provincial Client Experience Manager

This manager drives the adoption and improvement of client-experience standards across the Personal and Private Banking value chain. The work involves identifying service gaps, improving client journeys, using feedback and operational data to guide changes and coordinating implementation across teams such as Client Solutions, Digital, Operations, Fraud and Risk. A strong background in banking or financial services is expected, together with experience in service improvement, operational execution, stakeholder management and regulated environments.
Financial Institutions Sales Specialist, Africa Regions, Global Markets

The Financial Institutions Sales Specialist works with Global Markets flow and structured products for financial-institution clients across African and international markets. Duties include sales origination, product structuring and pricing, trade execution, client presentations, market insights, relationship management and collaboration with Trading, Research, Structuring, Investment Banking, Transaction Banking, Credit and Operations. The role also carries revenue, risk and compliance responsibilities. Experience with flow sales and Global Markets client management is important, while structured-sales experience is an advantage.
Skills That Matter Across These Roles
Client communication is central to all three vacancies, but the depth and context differ. Universal Bankers need strong frontline sales and service skills. The Provincial Client Experience Manager needs the ability to interpret data, work across a large value chain and lead practical service improvements. The Global Markets specialist needs product knowledge, commercial judgement and the ability to discuss complex market solutions with institutional clients.
Because Standard Bank operates in a regulated environment, candidates should also show that they understand process discipline, risk management and compliance.
