Description
Company Partners is hiring a Finance Assistant / Administrator to support the day-to-day financial work behind its business-services operation. This is a practical finance support role rather than a purely administrative position: the person will work with customer receipts, bank reconciliations, supplier invoices, payment schedules, expense claims and month-end reporting support.
The vacancy could suit someone who already has a year or two of finance, bookkeeping or administration experience and wants broader exposure to how a finance department operates. It is also a reasonable next step for a candidate who has handled basic reconciliations and wants to build stronger accounting-process experience.

📌 Finance Assistant / Administrator
About Company Partners
Company Partners provides business-registration, accounting and related support services to South African entrepreneurs and small businesses. The finance team supports the transactions and records needed to keep those services running accurately.
Responsibilities
- Allocate daily customer receipts and investigate unallocated transactions.
- Assist with bank reconciliations and resolve account discrepancies.
- Capture supplier invoices and maintain supplier records.
- Assist with supplier reconciliations and prepare payment schedules.
- Maintain finance records and filing systems.
- Process employee expense claims and assist with cost-centre allocations.
- Support weekly and monthly finance reporting and month-end reconciliations.
Qualifications
Grade 12 is the minimum education requirement. Bookkeeping or other finance-related studies are listed as an advantage rather than an absolute requirement.
Experience
The employer asks for around one to two years of administration, bookkeeping or finance experience. Previous work with reconciliations is advantageous.
Skills
Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy are important because the role deals with transaction records and reconciliations. Good Excel ability is required, while experience with Xero or similar accounting software can strengthen an application.
What Could Strengthen Your Application
A CV that simply says “finance administration” may be too vague. Where possible, show the actual tasks you have handled: bank reconciliations, supplier invoices, cash allocation, expense processing, Excel reporting or accounting software. Those examples make it easier for the employer to see that you can step into the daily work of the role.
Salary
The current vacancy lists remuneration of up to R14,000 CTC per month.
How to Apply
Applications are handled through the official Company Partners SmartRecruiters vacancy page.
Final Summary
The Finance Assistant / Administrator role is suited to an early-career candidate with practical administration or bookkeeping experience who wants broader exposure to reconciliations, supplier processing and finance reporting.
