The application deadline was 28 August 2026.
The Northern Cape Department of Transport, Safety and Liaison is recruiting 14 Provincial Inspectors in its Transport Regulations directorate. The posts are spread across Kimberley, Mothibistad, Olifantshoek, Richmond, Springbok, Upington and Britstown and close on 28 August 2026. These are permanent law-enforcement and transport-regulation positions for qualified traffic officers who can enforce road-traffic and public-transport legislation, inspect vehicles and licences and provide visible traffic policing. Candidates must already hold the required Traffic Officer Diploma and valid manual-transmission driving licence, so this is not a trainee traffic-officer intake. The department also requires medical fitness, SAPS clearance and willingness to undergo vetting.
