The Department of Cooperative Governance, Human Settlements and Traditional Affairs (CoGHSTA) is offering an extensive Graduate Internship Programme for 2026, aimed at empowering unemployed graduates from Limpopo Province.

Responsibilities
As an intern, your duties will depend on your placement, but generally include:
- Assisting with daily administrative and operational tasks
- Supporting departmental projects and programmes
- Conducting research, data collection, and reporting
- Participating in meetings and contributing ideas
- Providing support in policy development and implementation
- Assisting with community engagement initiatives
- Maintaining records and documentation
- Learning and applying government procedures and systems
Interns will gain valuable experience by working on real government projects that impact communities across Limpopo.
Qualifications
- Be South African citizens residing in Limpopo Province
- Be unemployed graduates
- Hold a relevant qualification (Diploma or Degree)
- Not have previously participated in a government internship programme
Education
Minimum requirement: 3-year Diploma or Degree (NQF Level 5–10)
Qualification must be relevant to the internship field applied for
