GBS is offering a 12-month paid Dialler Administrator Internship through its Cubix division in Umhlanga. The Cubix Internship 2026 is aimed at young South African candidates with a relevant tertiary qualification in IT Software or Application Development, Database Administration or a related technical area. The intern will work with dialler systems used to manage outbound business campaigns, helping monitor performance, load data, maintain campaign settings and support the technical processes that influence contact rates and agent productivity. The role combines IT administration with operational analytics and gives an entry-level candidate practical exposure to systems that sit between customer data, campaigns and contact-centre performance.

Dialler Administration Responsibilities
The dialler administrator supports the systems that determine how leads and calls are distributed across campaigns. The intern will monitor the dialler in real time, follow the data strategy set by management and carry out operational changes such as creating or updating users, campaigns, recycle rules, dial rules and caller-line identification settings. This gives the placement a practical systems-administration focus rather than a general call-centre internship.

- Follow the data strategy set by dialler management.
- Suggest ways to improve agent productivity and utilisation.

Technical Exposure
Contact-centre diallers depend on both system configuration and clean campaign data. Loading the correct lead data, applying the correct rules and monitoring performance can affect how efficiently agents connect with customers. The internship therefore gives the learner experience in a technical environment where system settings and data decisions have a direct operational impact.
Skills the Role Can Build
The placement can strengthen practical administration of business applications, campaign monitoring and data handling. It also requires the intern to understand how technical settings connect with sales operations. Working with campaign SLAs, agent utilisation and lead-loading procedures introduces the learner to performance measures that are commonly used in contact-centre technology environments.
Who the Internship Is For
This opportunity is best aligned with a young IT graduate who has completed the required tertiary qualification and wants an entry route into application, database or contact-centre systems support. Because the vacancy excludes candidates who are already employed or enrolled in another internship or learnership, the programme is clearly positioned as a first structured workplace-development opportunity.
Campaign Performance and Data Control
The vacancy links dialler administration directly with sales performance. The intern will not only make system changes but also monitor whether campaigns are meeting service levels and whether agents are being used effectively. This introduces the learner to operational metrics and the idea that technology settings can influence how many leads are contacted and how efficiently a campaign performs.
Lead loading and recycling rules are also important parts of the role. The intern will learn why data needs to be loaded through a standard process, how unsuccessful contacts can be recycled according to campaign rules and how the dialler controls the next action taken on a lead.
