Emeris Sandton Campus is offering a 12-month IT Internship in Johannesburg for a graduate with an NQF Level 5 or recognised technical qualification. The role covers first-line ICT support across lecture venues and campus systems, including desktops, laptops, printers, projectors, software, asset records and service-desk administration. The intern will also have development exposure through shadowing senior ICT staff and assisting with basic server troubleshooting. No minimum work experience is required, which makes the position suitable for a graduate moving from technical study into practical campus IT support.
Lecture Venue and User Support
One part of the internship is focused on keeping teaching spaces and user devices operational. The intern provides first-line support for computer and lecture venues, carries out routine equipment checks and helps maintain the technology used during teaching. This includes devices such as copiers, printers, motorised screens and projectors, as well as support for wireless infrastructure.

Minimum Qualification
Applicants need at least a Higher Certificate or Occupational Certificate at NQF Level 5, or an A+ / N-level technical qualification as accepted by the employer. About the Campus Environment
ICT support in a higher education campus has a direct effect on teaching and learning because classrooms, computer venues and staff systems depend on reliable equipment and software. The internship therefore gives the graduate practical experience in an environment where technical support needs to be organised, responsive and accurately documented.
About Emeris
Emeris brings together resources and expertise from IIE Varsity College, IIE MSA, IIE-Vega School and IIE School of Hospitality & Service Management. The Sandton campus IT role therefore supports an education environment where students and staff depend on reliable classroom technology, computer venues and digital systems. That setting gives the intern exposure to support work that directly affects teaching, learning and campus operations.
The employer also lists development opportunities and career pathways among its broader employee benefits. For this internship specifically, the confirmed development element is the opportunity to shadow senior ICT and support staff while taking part in real technical support and administration work.
