Available Graduate Streams
1. π΅ Foundation for the Future (FftF) β Consulting
Type: Generalist Consulting; PwC’s Flagship Entry Programme
What is this stream about?
Foundation for the Future is PwC’s premier consulting entry point for diverse, broad thinkers who want to solve complex business challenges across multiple industries and disciplines. This stream does not lock you into one narrow function instead, it exposes you to a wide range of consulting projects, clients, and business problems, building you into a well-rounded, versatile professional.

What you will work on:

Education Required: Undergraduate degree (Honours degree preferred)

2. π‘ SAP: Digital Trust Graduate Programme
Type: Technology & Business Process; SAP Systems
What is this stream about?
This stream sits at the exciting intersection of business processes and technology, specifically focused on using SAP systems the world’s most widely used enterprise resource planning platform to ensure data integrity, security, and digital trust within large organisations.
As businesses become increasingly digital, the need for professionals who understand both the technical and business sides of SAP has never been greater. This stream trains you to become that specialist.
What you will work on:
- SAP system implementation and configuration projects

3. π΄ Financial Services Risk & Regulation (FSRR)
Type: Risk, Regulation & Compliance in Financial Services
What is this stream about?
The FSRR team helps South Africa’s most important financial institutions banks, insurers, and investment firms navigate the highly complex legal, regulatory, and risk landscape they operate in. With ever-changing legislation from bodies like the SARB, FSCA, and international regulators, businesses need specialists who understand both the law and the financial environment.
This stream is ideal for graduates with a passion for law, finance, risk, and regulation who want to work at the heart of South Africa’s financial sector.

4. π’ Tax & Transfer Pricing β SAIT Stream
Type: Tax Advisory & Transfer Pricing; Professionally Accredited
What is this stream about?
These two programmes are aligned with the South African Institute of Taxation (SAIT) and are designed for graduates pursuing professional tax accreditation. Tax is one of the most in-demand skills in the professional services sector, and PwC offers two distinct pathways within this stream:
Tax Programme:
Work with PwC’s tax advisory team, helping businesses structure their affairs in a tax-efficient and compliant manner. This programme supports your path towards becoming a registered tax professional with SAIT.
Education Required: Currently studying towards CTA (Certificate in the Theory of Accounting) OR PGDA (Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting) OR Honours in Accounting.
Transfer Pricing Programme:
Transfer pricing involves advising multinational companies on how they price transactions between related entities in different countries a highly specialised and globally in-demand skill.
Education Required: Postgraduate degree in Tax, Accounting, or Law; Minimum academic average of 60%.
General Eligibility Requirements
Across all streams, PwC expects the following:
- β Must be a South African citizen OR hold a valid permanent residency or work permit valid for the full 3-year contract duration.
- β Strong academic record a minimum average of 60β65% is generally expected across all streams.
- β Must be a final-year student or recent graduate in a relevant field.
- β Must demonstrate the five PwC Professional core attributes.
- β Must be willing to commit to a 3-year fixed-term programme.
Education & Experience
- Education: All streams require at minimum an undergraduate degree, with most specialised streams requiring an Honours or postgraduate qualification. Academic consistency is critical PwC reviews your full academic record from Matric through to your most recent university year.
- Experience: No specific prior work experience is required for most streams. Vacation work, internships, or part-time experience in a relevant field will strengthen your application. PwC values intellectual capability and the right mindset above experience at graduate level.
