MISA is a government entity under the Ministry of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs, responsible for supporting municipalities with infrastructure planning, implementation, operations, and maintenance. This internship provides practical work experience to help graduates build their careers in fields like ICT, Finance, Legal, and Compliance.

A total of 7 internship positions are available:
- ICT Intern (X1)
- Finance Interns (X4)
- Internal Control & Compliance Intern (X1)
- Legal Services Intern (X1)
🛠️ Responsibilities
Depending on the internship field, duties may include:
- ICT: Assisting with IT systems and technical support.
- Finance: Supporting financial reporting, budgeting, and accounting tasks.
- Compliance: Monitoring compliance, auditing, and risk processes.
- Legal: Providing legal research and administrative support.
- Assisting teams with daily departmental tasks and infrastructure projects.
✅ Qualifications & Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Must be a South African citizen.
- Must be an unemployed graduate.
- Must not have previously participated in an internship programme for the same qualification.
- Must meet the specific NQF requirements for each post.
🎓 Education Requirements
- ICT Intern: Diploma (NQF 6) or Degree (NQF 7) in IT or Computer Systems Engineering.
- Finance Interns: Diploma/Degree in BCom Accounting, Financial Management, or Cost & Management Accounting.
- Compliance Intern: Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Auditing, Internal Audit, or Risk Management.
- Legal Intern: LLB Degree.
📍 Job Location & Experience
- Location: MISA Head Office, Centurion (Pretoria, South Africa).
- Experience: No prior work experience required; this is an entry-level programme.
