Available Positions
1. Management Consulting Graduate Programme
Location: Johannesburg
Application Deadline: 31 March 2026
Duration: 2 Years (Rotational)
What is this role about?
You will rotate through different business units at KPMG, working on solving complex problems for big organisations. No two days look the same — one week you could be working on a digital transformation strategy, the next you could be helping a company restructure its operations.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Run and participate in client workshops
- Analyse data to identify business problems and opportunities
- Develop business proposals and presentations for clients

- BCom in Finance, Economics, or Accounting
- BSc in Data Science, AI, Computer Science, or Informatics
- BEng in Civil, Software, or Industrial Engineering
- Masters in Industrial Psychology
2. Technology Risk Graduate Programme
Locations: Johannesburg | Cape Town | Durban

What is this role about?
You will help businesses identify and manage risks related to their technology systems. As companies go digital, the risks grow — and KPMG needs sharp graduates to help clients stay safe and compliant.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Assess how well a company’s IT controls are working
- Respond to and investigate cyber threats

- Help clients navigate risks during digital transformation projects

- BSc Computer Science
- BSc Information Systems
- BCom Informatics
- Bachelor of Information Technology (BIT)
3. Internal Audit Graduate Programme
Locations: Johannesburg | Cape Town | Durban

Duration: 3-Year Training Contract
What is this role about?
You will work inside companies to check whether their internal systems, controls, and risk management processes are working properly. Think of it as being the organisation’s internal health checker.
Key Focus Areas:
- Regulatory and technical audit principles
- Business process mapping
- Data analytics using tools like IDEA or Power BI
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Execute audit programmes and test internal controls
- Prepare detailed workpapers and audit documentation
- Identify the root cause when controls fail and recommend fixes
- Report findings to management and help improve processes
Eligible Degrees:
- BCom Honours in Internal Audit, Risk Management, or Accounting
4. Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Graduate Programme
Location: Johannesburg

Duration: 3-Year Training Contract
What is this role about?
You will help large organisations identify, understand, and manage the risks that could affect their entire business — from strategy right down to day-to-day operations.
Key Focus Areas:
- Risk facilitation workshops
- ERM framework development
- Maturity assessments
- Combined assurance models
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Facilitate risk identification workshops with client teams
- Develop risk appetite and tolerance statements tailored to each client
- Build and assess ERM frameworks across different industries
- Produce risk reports and recommendations for boards and executives
Eligible Degrees:
- BCom Honours in Risk Management, Auditing, or Accounting
- Minimum academic aggregate of 65% required
5. Sustainability Graduate Programme
Location: Johannesburg

What is this role about?
This is part of KPMG’s Internal Audit & ERM practice, but with a specific focus on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) issues. Sustainability is no longer just a word — it is now a legal and business requirement for major companies.
Key Focus Areas:
- Sustainability and ESG reporting
- ESG risk management
- Climate and social impact compliance
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Help clients measure and track their sustainability goals
- Ensure clients comply with international ESG reporting standards
- Conduct ESG risk assessments and gap analyses
- Assist with preparing sustainability reports for regulators and investors
Eligible Degrees:
- Bachelor’s degree in any field
- Preference given to Environmental Science, Sustainability, BCom, or Law graduates
6. Governance and Regulatory Compliance Graduate Programme
Location: Johannesburg

What is this role about?
You will focus on making sure businesses follow the laws and regulations that govern their industry. This role is ideal for graduates who have a passion for law and governance.

- Contract compliance
- Regulatory technical principles
- Governance advisory services
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Analyse legislation and how it applies to client businesses
- Perform compliance reviews and identify gaps
- Assist with project administration for governance-related tasks
- Advise clients on how to align their practices with legal requirements
Eligible Degrees:
- BCom Law
- LLB
- BCom in Accounting or Risk Management (with a strong interest in law)
General Requirements for All Programmes
Academic Performance:
- Strong academic record with a minimum average of 60–65% or higher (ERM requires at least 65%)
- Must have completed or be in the final year of an eligible degree

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good written and verbal communication
